The no tolerance policies in school, where if a kid comes up and whacks you and you protect yourself, you both get equal trouble. It fucked up a whole generation+. Now adults are trained to call for their teacher, aka the police, instead of handling things themselves.
I lived in several major cities. If you saw somebody siphoning gas out of your car and you engaged, YOU would be viewed as the aggressor.
