In edged weapon scenarios it's best to put a round in the gut to slow the stabber down. After that, no matter the adrenaline in their system, they are slowed down. If they're not, apply more bullets.

Such a boomer thing to say. Gut shots don't do shit and a knife is deadly. The only correct shot placement is directly between the eyes, but close runners up are neck or heart.
