Yep WAY too slow. Even if the nog didn't stab her but was threatening to stab her and had the immediate ability to stab her, it was open season. That's a cop that is not confident with his rifle marksmenship.

Just re-watched. I'll give him the short jog from car to shithead, but it still took him over 8 seconds from the time he stopped running to shoot and stop the threat.
