All of John 8 is based. Jesus speaks to a crowd gathered at the temple and directly speaks against the pharisees and against those who speak ill of him, descendants of Abraham or otherwise.

John 8 especially captures the defiance of jews acceptance of Jesus and is still very relevant today in any matter concerning israel, and their talmud that declares Jesus to be burning in hell in a pit of feces.

Modern day israel denies Jesus, they walk in darkness, they will die in sin, and they will never be able to follow He Who is risen.

This is the truth, and the truth has set me free.
