I wasn't talking about the *real* problems, but the things they consider important, like consooming, sports ball, celebrities (essentially consooming distractions) which are distracting them from their real problems.

I think in practice this NPC thing is a bit too much of a black and white thinking. But let's say someone either is or isn't an NPC, where would the line be drawn? And how do you know that they are all NPCs and not, for example, people who would be willing to do something but are lacking things like time, money, knowledge or morale?

The comments are always super based, too. Even on youtube, even though they do censor (people trick the system/use dog whistles).
