Ignoring the fact that booby traps are banned under international law, the pagers, radios, walkie-talkies were located within grocery stores, cafes, homes, etc, when Israel detonated them. Multiple civilians (including children) were killed, and countless others were injured. No western nation would ever conduct an attack like this because of the widespread, indiscriminate collateral damage that would surely result from such a strategy.

People fail to recognize the vetting process that the United States military and others will undertake before launching a drone strike or something similar, and how often strikes are called off/postponed due to the possibility of civilian casualties. This was just yet another in a long line of callous attack from Israel with complete disregard for civilian casualties.

Yea, detonating hundreds (potentially even more) of explosives without first verifying their location or if civilians are within close proximity is clearly less impactful on innocent people than hand-to-hand combat.
