Pretty much any American catholic priest with an anglo saxon last name is probably a convert or from a family that converted because of the fact that the vast majority of english and scottish old stock Americans were protestant. It would be easy to posit dispensationalism into the church because of this, even if not purposefully, due to it being your background.
