I remember Jack Chick (mega-zionist) hawking this Rivera guy's stuff in the 90s, but it's probably a lot older than that. Protestantism is a dumpster fire and I pity anyone who leaves the Catholic church thinking they will find Christianity there.

I honestly believe Chick was an infiltrator who's sole purpose was to discredit Christianity by kookifying it during the "Satanic Panic" so that everyone ignored the actual rampant satanism and cult activity and instead laughed at the boomers going after D&D (which was created by a Christian man. Gygax, and heavily influenced by Tolkien, a *very* Christian man).

If you look into Chick's earlier life, he was an avowed anti-theist until he "converted", I believe.
