As much of a meme as the holocaust is, what about the genocide claims in the orient? Of course, the holohoax and its implications have a far more severe impact on us than alleged Japanese atrocities, but has there been any significant exposé on the Japanese question like there has been with the holocaust? To what extent were the apparent Japanese "atrocities" used to justify cutting off oil supply to Japan to provoke them into war so that FDR could fight for his favorite jews? To what extent, also, was this used to justify the Dresden-esque bombings on Japanese civilian targets and Hiroshima+Nagasaki.
Some of it is just fucking insane, has no actual backing, and rivals masturbation machines. Japanese soldiers launching babies in the air for target practice? *Really?* If they were so uniquely evil, why was there also such a massive number of japanese collaborators? More than Germany had?
I'd appreciate good information on this. There's very little.
I do think there is a lot of substance to the claims of Japan's maltreatment of POWs. The way they treated US, British, Australian and other POWs was awful. One can put it down to a difference in culture, but it was still brutal.
