I remember a young man brought in his resume to my old employer. I was called out to speak with him as I conducted the first round of interviews.

I saw pronouns next to his name (he/they) and thanked him for his time, but we weren't looking for anyone.

I immediately tossed his resume in the trash.

We hired someone not too long after, and she did not have pronouns.
