"Ms." was heavily promoted by feminists before jews decided to get rid of titles altogether and just use first names in business settings. Before that, 'Miss" and "Mrs." were far more common.

when i was in law school, apparently someone found we could make a filing in europe for foreign recognition of our law degrees in the US, and now all of us are legally recognized internationally as

> Sir or Dame <whatever>

and i don't give anyone shit about it, unless they're a pronoun fag. then i make them address me as Sir.

Miss = unmarried
Mrs = married

Miss is only for unmarried women, while Ms. (short for mistress) says nothing about marital status, which is why it was preferred by feminists.

Right, why discuss something that will never happen to you. Very practical approach.

(((They))) needed to stop all of that "why aren't you married" business because it was undermining their efforts to get women to become cat ladies.
