Not the best homeschooling laws, but not the worst. You file a one time "notice of intent" to homeschool with the superintendent, with a copy of your high school diploma, then like every 2 or 3 years send in a progress report, best to just hire an ex teacher to write the report is what I have read. That's it.
Check out the hope scholarship, it's only for people who pulled kids out of public school but hopefully that changes at some point. $5k rebate for homeschooling costs.
