There is a Chinese family opening a new restaurant. All the people involved, from construction workers to restaurant staff are only Chinese. They do not offer jobs to the non Chinese.

It's an illusion, nothing boost morale like nationalism does. You can notice the same thing in North Korea. CCP does nothing to help China thrive, their shills are however working hard every day to make the rest of the world believe that China is doing well.
