There is a Chinese family opening a new restaurant. All the people involved, from construction workers to restaurant staff are only Chinese. They do not offer jobs to the non Chinese.

Like America they don't have public healthcare in China, but they also don't have mandatory car insurance, or even health insurance.
The amount of accidents due to shitty drivers, selfish behavior, and tofu infrastructure would make insurance too expensive for most people.
If a pedestrian is hit by a car, the driver will reverse and run over the pedestrian again just to ensure they're dead. Because it's a lot cheaper to pay for disposal of a dead body than it is to pay their medical bills for life.
China also have a scammer problem, people pretending to be hurt just to accuse someone else and force them to pay their medical bills. It's so bad that you can get into trouble for helping someone who's injured, even if you didn't harm them in the first place.
Apparently you can't punch someone either, but you can spit. So a lot of fights end up with people just spitting at each others, then they fake a fall and pretend to be injured. It looks ridiculous when caught on video.
It's basically the peak of individualist society with no morale and no religion. Bugmen are the jews of Asia.
Maybe so, it's a dictatorship after all. If they want to fix something they could easily do it. But never forget that the same government who "fixed" the problem also were the ones causing it in the first place.
