The game peaked at only 697 concurrent players on Steam, a 70% decline from its open beta numbers.
not as much as you'd imagine but the character design included fat black women, and was generally awful.
but the devs woke posted and aligned the game with that faction, "a game for the modern audience" - not realising there is no modern audience. They get the "ally" Tweets but when it comes to spending $70+ on a game everybody bought "Black Myth: Wukong" instead 2m+ concurrent players released in the same week and 20x sales in first week - record of all time.
