Germany invaded Poland, but so did Russia and Britain never declared war on them.
Yes, Germany invaded France, *after* France declared war on them. That's how war works.
Britain constantly cites German expansionism as the reason for going to war (Britain was never attacked until after they declared war) but Hitler clearly offered peace terms.

Britain also had an established Empire over half the planet at that point, so them kvetching about German trying to feed its own people was utterly hypocritical.
Well, I guess there's some karmic justice in the fact that Britain screwed itself out of an empire by stabbing their closest brothers in the back.
And brothers they were, not just in terms of language and genetics.
Prussia in particular had fought on England's side so many times that it was once considered to be the "Festlandsdegen" (= continental sword) of english interests.
Of course, to the political caste, there is no such thing as legitimate english interests anymore....
