Tallest is unique from the other doomers in that (a), he doesn't spam posts about it, which is all I've ever banned the other (legitimate) doomertards for (I don't really care to police comments all the time), and (b), because he possesses a vast wealth of information that he will gladly disseminate whenever asked, which helps to counterbalance the dooming. Nobody around here has "moderator protection" beyond that of any other legitimate user of this board.
