Regarding Japan, they literally bowed their faces into the dust and accepted US rule.
It is not a joke to them. USA won fair and square. Their emperor accepted their subjugation. They know that they are not free from the desires of the USA.
One day, USA will fall, and at some point, Japan and South Korea will declare their freedom. They've seen it happen thousands of times before. That's why, perhaps, they are trying to accelerate the downfall of the USA.

Nah, Japan and Korea are actually allies to the US, I think its due to their eastern code of honor. Its a shame that the US isnt free itself, because by all rights we should recognize our allies in Asia instead of worshipping the Golden Calf of a fake Israel. What the US did to Japan right before WWII is especially egregious. Theres nothing more dishonorable than stabbing a people you brought out of relative savagery and isolation in the back when they need you the most.
