It's an arm of the problem for sure. Dull the child before it even has a chance to breathe, feed it artificial slop, "cure" its ailments with pills, fix its physical defects with a scalpel.

And then mind-rape the child so hard it thinks its the opposite gender, so you can sell it cosmetics that will render it sterile, but able to consume product for the rest of its life.
