I've heard so many horror stories about these fries recently...

*They are made from special potatoes that require special pesticide that cause super cancer!*

*The salt blend is a concoction of mega sodium that causes cancer!*

*The oil they use to fry the fries in is a soup of hydrogenated cancer!*

No clue about any of it. I've eaten PLENTY of these things in my youth, and they still taste good, to me anyway.

Fast food is the one vice I can't really shake, no matter how hard I try. My consooom is down to manageable levels, but it's still a guilty pleasure every so often.

Depending on how old you are, the fries you ate in your youth might have been very different. They were still frying them in beef tallow until the 90s.

The convenience of them was being cheap and fast. Now they are neither. For almost the same price and wait time, you can sit down at a restaurant and eat much better food.

But I stopped long ago for health reasons, and I suggest you do the same. Bc in reality this food, especially fried shit, is not satiating, its addicting. When I eat junk food now, I find myself craving it for a few days. But then it goes away. Its crazy how one goyslop meal can make me a crackhead for more sometimes lasting a week: thats what happens when you kick the habit and fall back on it, just like any drug.

If you abstain for about 3 months, you'll no longer want it. If you abstain for 3 months and then eat some goyslop, itll taste very salty and youll feel like garbage afterwards. Then you'll realize you that used to always feel like that.

Trust me, just prep meals for your home freezer to always eat healthy, cheap, and whatever you want.

If you find a well managed fast food joint it can be pretty good for that. I had a Jack in the box in my old neighborhood that was fucking delicious. McDonalds pretty much sucks everywhere though. The fries are hit and miss. Sometimes they're good, when they're hot and fresh, and you feel jewed when they're stale and lukewarm. That's why I just go to In n' Out. It's fresh food and it's always delicious, no matter the store.

And Chick fil' a is fucking nasty. It was good the one time I tried it when it was a craze, then it just fell off hard. They're all franchised so you might have a good one. But franchise operations can't control quality.

The quality of most fast food joints is directly related to the Human Resources available in that area. Go to good neighborhoods and the food and quality will be much better. Don't ever go to a McDonalds or Churchs in the hood hood!
