Online T&Cs are a bluff. Pretty much anything is without notarization and legal counsel present during signing.

Same trick worked for a wife KILLED PROVABLY by Disney negligence in 2024, due to updated terms and conditions of STREAMING DISNEY+ FREE TRIAL TV, a ploy that worked. No trial attempt for killed wife on Disney property, only (((private arbitration)))!!!!

>No trial attempt

Well, does that mean he couldn't go to trial, or that he *thought* he couldn't?

Yea Terms and Conditions, while legal, become unusable and thrown out when it's not clear, its illegal or too broad. That's why terms that go "you can't sue" aren't legally binding. The Disney case is more of an issue of having to fight a company with the ability to field almost an army's amount of legal agents. Disney would and is pushing the terms narrative but if this went to trial it would most likely not stick but it wouldn't stop Disney from dragging the man and the courts the whole way till the other side runs out of cash or scares them to just give up.

True. But that being said, I think there are thousands of people who would crowd fund this guy, just to see disney getting fucked.

It means he probably can't make a civil case for cash damages. It has nothing to do with whether or not Disney is criminally liable.

Your link says they're *trying* to get the lawsuit tossed because of the fine print, not that they were successful.

It's old anyway. Disney got massive backlash and decided to "waive their right" to arbitration.
