It severely reduced the differences between us and them by imposing our cultures, dress senses, languages, &c. onto them, thereby greatly facilitating multiracialism. Multiracialism would be almost impossible if non-whites were still in their pre-colonial state: they would seem far more alien to the average White and thus he would feel far less comfortable around them. When they dress like you and speak like you, in particular, it greatly enhances the plausibility of the belief that they are members or prospective members of your in-groups rather than clear outsiders.
It led them to get hold of technologies that both greatly increased their life expectancy, thus leading the global White majority to become a tiny minority, and the 'shrinkage' of the world. Almost any African can turn on a television, and, now exposed to imagery of a life economically far superior to his own, his oft-materialist mind quickly develops a desire to immigrate, and the abundance of planes across today's Africa enable him to try.
Make no mistake, imperialism, irrespective of its motive, whether under the belief in some kind of misguided mission of saving the souls of non-whites from eternal damnation through Christianization of the world or any other conceivable reason, was one of *the* biggest mistakes of the Whites. Whites could make *every* other mistake that they've made and things would still be far better off than they are at present: for starters, we'd have a global White super-majority rather than today's super-majority the average member of which has an IQ as low as a lousy 82 and is dropping. Indeed, many of our problems would still be here: but that particularly pressing demographic, racial one is the fault of imperialism and imperialism alone.
