> Have you ever honestly inventoried your shit?

Yes. I know EXACTLY what is in my possession because I'm not a slob. Down to different size PC case screws in their own screw organizers.

I don't understand hoarding, or the ability to accumulate so much shit you legitimately forget what you have. Organization isn't hard. People are just lazy assholes, and that's coming from an extremely lazy asshole.

Precisely. A *true* lazy asshole doesn't buy what he knows he won't use, 'cause he doesn't wanna lug that shit home.

Having worked in the extremes of hoarding -- a storage facility -- what ayh discovered why people accumulate is due more to how we live and the size of our homes and the amount of storage. It uses to be space was precious -- but now even the most basic apartment is a few hundred square feet and "tons of storage" and people then hide away their consume and have ZERO perspective of what they own UNTIL they have to get more or move in together and then its.. "ayh was not mentally prepared to get rid of xyz so we need storage" and then they forget, rinse, repeat.

Note --> (((they))) love installing "more storage" as a condition of homes.

Honestly. Only toss what is rubbish. I inherited a lifetime of tools, and building materials from my father. All organized though. I don't make hardware store runs. I just go to the bin and get the nail, bolt, screw it need. And have the tools to build anything.

Agreed. Sometimes you just need that tool, or part. I couldn't build a decent electric myself. So buying one was optimal. I do save bent nails if they are large nails. I have the space though. I would think space is always a factor. Saving that broke plastic water gun is not worth it.

a) One cannot posses potential...holding onto anything drains potential.

b) Ones consent to the suggestion of another shapes a "possession" for another and an "obsession" for self.

c) Nature produces (inception) and consumes (death) each potential (life) within.

Everything I own can fit into an 8"x15" storage unit where everything is still accessible
