Turns out that if you measure temperatures in a sunny area with all the trees removed and the natural soil replaced with asphalt that absorbs sun and turns it into heat, your going to get record temperatures.
I find it funny that all the alarm over some "climate" catastrophe completely ignores that we didnt really start recording temperatures consistently until the past 100 years or so, and yet they want to project the incredibly limited data into doomsday predictions for the next 10 years as if they understand in any way how the planet's entire temperature is supposed to work.
