The Church published a guideline on what written works are forbidden in general so applying that to modern media will eliminate 99% of slop from your eyes and ears. No need for me to research the artist when their works speak on their behalf.

Otherwise if it passes the checklist, I don’t look into the artist because most of the world isn’t a traditional Catholic. Unless the artist was publicly mocking the Church and God, I’m only going to look at the art.
