Correct, and they werent wars of conquest, most of them were literally just armed guards protecting peasant pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem from Mohammedan bandits. Most of the actual wars happened because the muslims refused to leave Christian lands, and because the muzzies also were harassing unarmed pilgrims doing what they had done for basically all of Christian history.
