Hitler had a similar idea, but wanted boxing to be part of school so men could learn to defend themselves even if they had no weapons. Honestly I think some martial art that doesnt involve getting beaten into retardation would be a better choice, but boxing is better than nothing.

There are many martial arts that do not incorporate punches or kicks. Like Karate or Judo. But for Europeans the MMA of choice should be Greek-Roman wrestling, IMHO.
