I saw a NPR headline that read 'A real shift in the vibe' regarding the tattoo industry, and I thought (hoped) that it would be that younger generations were rejecting tattoos as uncool because of the amount of boomers/x/millennials that have them.

Alas, I was disappointed to read that it was some drivel about how indie tattooists were fighting artistic exploitation... I guess I'm not nearly cynical enough.
