After 30 years of paying a mortgage (if you make the minimum payment), you own the property. After 30 years of paying rent, you own nothing. Power is in ownership, not renting. Why do you think Blackrock bought all those single family homes? Why do you think a sane country makes it harder for aliens to own property as opposed to renting?
Your point was that owning is inferior to renting, which is pants-on-head stupid. Your assertion that we are enslaved because we live in a society that levies taxes is also stupid.
No, my point is DEBT is how your energies are harvested. If you can buy a house cash, great. But if you can't, going into debt means your life energies are being harvested for 30 years by Shlomo.
You own the investment that you get with your money instead of using it for a down payment for a house.
