With market prices you can bet they create artificial scarcity by blaming lack of wind and solar power when in reality they shut those plants down during sunshine and while it's perfect wind as over production means negative energy prices.

Commiefornia already have rolling blackouts. Nordpool at least has a cap of €4000/MW. UK who left EU has no cap and some homeowners got bills higher than £10 000 in a single month. Give it some time and the number of homeless in commiefornia will increase by a lot because people can't afford to pay their electric bills. $1000 is a lot when you're not even using electricity for cooking or heating.
