It's actually laughable that you think the government would run things better.
AAA DMV services trounce the actual DMV.
Private schools trounce public schools.
Private roads are so much better maintained than public roads.
The list goes on an on.
Corporatism has issues, no doubt. But acting like government is some panacea is hysterical.
Maybe it could, but you'd have to get rid of the Dem minded people running it. And in that case, we wouldn't need government to step in in the first place because Dems are the ones that fucked up housing to begin with.
The people who could solve the problem if in charge of government are the same ones who could solve it now if not for the government.
Government isnt some magical things like just there's no magic dirt. Ultimately it's people that make or break a society.
I don't know about (((Weimerica))), but the concept does work great in many other countries and has been practiced for many decades. I've lived in one of those units myself for a few years back in the days, rented a house from the city. Best landlord I ever had, very affordable rent.
Had a boiler leak during winter, took just a few hours before they showed up with a new one and installed. In a owned house that would have cost me $20,000 at least. There it was included in the rent.
