1. Your people cannot say or write "God" and must instead write "G-d" to censor it.
2. Like a vampire, your people are offended by the crucifix and work to remove it from public places. Your people refuse to write the "+" sign because it resembles a cross too much.
3. Your people mutilate and molest babies.
4. Your people only eat abused animals and have inspectors to ensure animals are *properly* abused so that you can eat them.
5. Your people have secret underground lairs beneath DC and NYC.
See, a lot of old traditions that don't make much sense to modern people often have a logical background. Not eating shellfish? It was harder to ensure it was safe in olden times. Potential danger > Taboo > Tradition against eating.
Draining an animal of all blood might have some similar origin. But *specifically ensuring* the animal has to suffer as much as possible? That's just pure sadism.
