I like power lines, trains, tanks, blades. When I hiked in Germany I was also amazed by industrial things I saw. I always thought about the amount of work invested, the time and amount of men required. These are underrated monuments.

They are not works of art, but works of functionality. These things all served a functional purpose, where aesthetic was no priority. I find architecture serving only function fascinating in its own way.

I also think about who is capable to do all that, if we still have the capabilities to recreate it. Of course, yes... but these are people of a kind one rarely sees.
