I recently made a comment about that. A few weeks ago I was thinking about Soviet spies. I always wondered how'd they manage to have Russians speak English in a way they are not immediately identified as having a Russian accent. The amount of people who'd be able to do that would be minuscule, as it would require many years of training to do so, aka speaking English. And to do that wasn't as easy as today.
But the answer is so simple. jews. jews can be in any nation and be communists, thus have loyalty to the Soviet Union at that time. They were the oh-so "hard-to-detect" spies. They can be native to the US and still operate against it. Not only is this not unusual for jews to do things like that, it is fairly common. This is what the average jew does.

Of the first 22 of the list, these stood out as very likely jews by name alone. So 50% at LEAST were jews.
Agnes Smedley looks like a battle lesbian with a large nose. Somehow obsessed with India. A pajeet communist. Alexander Koral has a jewish surname. Alger Hiss was meddling with jews left and right, basically a groomed shabbos goy. Anatole Boris Volkov's mother married a jewish spy master after her divorce and basically dragged him into the spy ring. Oh and he went to israel too. Yeah, let's say jew. Arvid Jacobson is suspect. A from Finland, but Jacobson seems to be a jewish surname. Bernard Redmont is a jew. Wikipedia has a category link to "20th-century American Jews", so thanks.
Not all were jews, but I'd estimate ~70%, whereas some are the result of being deeply involved in jewish communist circles.
I quickly scrolled down to the G-H letters. Oh boy, we have:
