After 15 years of nicotine use I can finally say that I’ve lost all cravings for the chemical. I quit regular use about 1.5-2 years ago but I’ve been an occasional user since (like the typical “only when I drink” guy). This evening it dawned on me that I haven’t had any desire for nicotine whatsoever in weeks, it is an amazing feeling..

The point of this anecdote is to tell some of the younger guys we have on this board that addiction is gay as fuck and sucks, but you can beat it through sheer willpower. Don’t let yourself become a slave to some chemical or other artificial happiness, as so many of us have done before. I smoked weed daily all throughout college and dabbled in some other substances as well, quit all of them cold turkey.

Nicotine has always been pushed onto teenagers. First it was cigarettes, then vapes, now Zyn. Don’t get involved, it does not improve your life in any way. All it does is make people who have already gotten hooked on it crave it constantly. If you never use it you won’t be missing out on anything.

Crrow777 did a podcast on pure unadulterated tobacco.

The only thing that really makes tobacco bad is the 1000+ chemicals added to commercially available tobacco products.

**462- The Story of Unadulterated Tobacco Made in Nature (Free)
Posted on December 11, 2022 by Crow** https://www.crrow777radio.com/462-the-story-of-unadulterated-tobacco-made-in-nature-free/

> I imagine most of us think of cancer when we hear the word tobacco, but this was not always the case. There was a time before the corporate adulteration of tobacco. Tobacco is made in nature, which means it serves a purpose in this creation, and as our guest informs us, has a deep-rooted relationship with humans. The plant itself is actually quite beautiful, with flowers that lend themselves to identification of particular types of tobacco. A quick image search for “tobacco flowers” will begin to bring your mind back around to recognizing this amazing plant’s natural state in the creation. The perception of tobacco used to be very different before the modern era. In those times tobacco smoke was known to carry prayers straight to heaven, so to speak. In the Chaco Canyon region of the southwest I was informed by a tribal elder that tobacco was used in the rain ceremony. Simply put, pipes are employed to smoke the tobacco while the clouds of smoke are “imagined” (the key and intention) to be rain clouds. A sober mind might ask – would a culture who has to work hard for everything they have expend energy on things that do not work? For my part, not on your life! But this is the difference between a culture tied closely to nature and one that has been separated from it, as we have been… mostly. To make the point, the so-called classics (myth, literature) that used to form the foundation of education were created by cultures intimately tied to nature. In this truth is found the underlying value (and keys), just beneath the surface narratives. So, let’s see if there is a difference between corporate-processed tobacco and the real McCoy – made in nature, and unadulterated.

look, i'm not saying i have all the answers, but you could write all of that and replace "tobacco" with "marijuana" or "coca" and justify whatever the fuck drug you want. smoking tobacco is probably *less harmful* than smoking tobacco + industrial waste, but it's probably still bad for you over just plain not smoking anything.

prayers carry themselves straight to Heaven. you need no chemical aid.

Imagine a prairie. Then imagine horse drawn carts passing through the same path, creating well-worn ruts. The ruts get deeper and more defined with each passing. That's addiction.

Now, imagine that you no longer use that path. Slowly, the prairie grows until it is no longer visible - hidden by beautiful grasses. You are in recovery from your addiction.

But, remember, the ruts are still there. The ruts don't go away.

Thus, if you start using your substance again, your return to your old levels of using happens very quickly, because the ruts remain.

Addiction is like that ability to ride a bicycle - even after years of not pedaling a bike, it's an amazing thing that we can simply just pedal off like we never took a break from it.

For those struggling, getting out of the ruts is totally worth it.

I recently quit drinking and have been sober for three months. Anyone who thinks there's no hope, there is you just need to find it.

I think it's the difference between people coming here via communities.win versus scored.co

I've always used the former and the latter has always seemed really gay to me

I quit smoking one day by taking my pack of cigarettes and running them under the sink to get them soaked. That was 4 years ago. I wanted cigarettes for like a year after. The addiction went away with the chemicals and all but I still had dreams where I was smoking cigarettes. Something in my brain wanted them. I just kept ignoring all of that shit and now I have not had one in 4 years.

The key to beating addiction is wanting to not be addicted more than you want to feed the addiction.

OK, maybe it is. So what? Or maybe it isn't. If you want witty prose go read some Will Rogers or Burmashave billboards or something

Typically, you'll have cravings after 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months and 3 years. If you pass the 3 year mark, you are probably safe. Nicotine is fucking evil.

It definitely can, which is why (((they))) bought up the snus company and created (((Zyn))), a much much more dangerous product than both cigarettes and snus due to the higher doses of nicotine and other chemicals.

As governments make it harder to smoke cigarettes, snus started to take over, at least in Sweden, in many other countries it was nicotine gums, vapes, e-cigarettes and other fuckery. Anything that doesn't expose others to passive smoking is generally more accepted as it only harms the user.

They say it's hard to quit smoking as it is, now imagine how much harder it will be to quit consooming (((zyn))) that's 5x more nicotine per pouch. (((They))) even lobby hard to ban snus, hoping to get monopoly on the nicotine market to get more people addicted to it, especially kids.

Ya I remember when I lived in Sweden seeing all the young people popping those little packets in. Never saw it much in the US.

Frankly i can't tolerate cigs, they smell like jewish chems made for stupid niggers

like sure, i'll puff a cigar or some hand-made apple tobacco but only like once in a few months in a good occasion

balance is the key to being able to enjoying a certain susbstance without being a slave to it

Nic makes me sick as a dog. And cigars are overrated. But enjoy! I like a faint hint of the smell, just can't smoke myself.

the smoke is definitely you'd like to avoid, hence why hookah or vaping might be the better alternative

the problem is with vaping is that most of the "liquid" fillers are some chemical shisse without any benefits whatsoever (essentially flavored water)

but apple tabac is very refreshing (esp if its made with real apples and not chemcical shisse) the only health benefits of consuming tabac are basically higher T (because tabac is an aromatese inhibitor which means it blocks estrogen)

but the harmful effects of tobacco are far, FAR too numerous to even consider the benefits...

> i'll puff a cigar

Putting a phallic shaped object in your mouth and sucking it is very gay.

> balance is the key

No, balance is not the key when it comes to unnecessary and harmful substances. You need balance for things that benefit your body in the right amount, but the right amount of smoking is absolute ZERO.

in my defense i haven't smoked in over 9 months

and last time i did was a apple tabbac on a hookah (and before that it was 6 months)

for it was literally just a dessert when i was enjoying some sand-nigger cuisine, i don't own a hookah and i haven't went to a tabbac shop in years

>balance is not the key when it comes to unnecessary and harmful substances

i'm going to assume you drink alcohol, coffee and probably indulge in a bit *goyslop* if not something worse

Nah, most vapes are actually some cigarette equivalent. Or at least, they were. Its only been recently that they started making THC or weed vapes IIRC.
