My guess is that he's wearing the coat hanger symbol to symbolize being against anti abortion laws by saying that it will create illegal abortions.
China's history with abortions is schizophrenic and blurs the line between what we would consider "conservative" vs "liberal", but in modern China its generally a right wing viewpoint to be anti abortion, so I would imagine that the soyjak is pro abortion.
