Yes, but the crucial difference being the Rhodies were still largely relying on support from Britain to stay afloat, and when Britain held them out to dry they went under. Orania is different, they are *entirely* self sufficient and doing it all on their own. And they know the score, they don't maintain this illusion that the blacks have any mutual desire to coexist with them, so for them they've already accepted survive-or-die. So unless the South African government is going to start sending whatever military forces they have left to openly attack them (which I doubt), they're gonna be fine.
