He actually hated Nihilism, he just took it in the opposite direction and declared that do *anything* was good. My main issue with Neiztsche is that an amoral and godless Super Man who only cared about power for power's sake would end up being consumed and destroyed by it because Power would become his god. The only alternative to Godless modernity is to return to traditional Christianity, there is *no* saving the Enlightenment, it must be completely destroyed down to its roots.
