What part of government? The government itself or the system that gets them elected? I suppose people interpret this differently depending on country. Personally I don't have much against our municipality representatives, we're just a few thousand people and the representatives knows their place.

I do not trust the national government however. And definitely not EU, but they're not even a government entity, it's a NGO. I'd probably say yes in a survey like this, but only because the municipality does most of the governing. Trust but verify.

Also notice how these numbers correlates perfectly with how much each government fucks over their own people. The more fuckery, the less trust. If these are the best ranking countries, it doesn't look good for governments around the world. We're talking billions of people who have been wronged.
