First note: we already know what future we ended up with and the fact that the radical Republicans unanimously won regardless of what Lincoln or anyone else in his cabinet personally thought or did. It's completely irrelevant in its entirety to say that Lincoln was anti-whatever or that he would have shipped niggers back. He didn't because he died, womp womp, it doesn't matter anymore because what came to pass came to pass.
Second note: the industrial and financial system of the North was as jewish as slavery in the south, and had an even tighter grasp on the northern people than slavery ever held on the southern people.
Third note: slavery was on its way out regardless. The cost to buy industrial machinery was greater than the cost to buy a slave, but long term it was cheaper. The slaver jews of the south were essentially poor compared to the industrial ones in the north, so they could not afford industrial machinery, but as the prices for those things went down, industry in the south would have blossomed and slavery would have ended on its own right, given the opinions of southerners, the south probably would have shipped blacks back on their own. Chattel slavery is an extremely expensive endeavor, the most expensive form of slavery, because you have to do everything for the slave. Industrial capitalism is significantly cheaper. Again, by the standards of the long term, but buying the equipment outright was expensive. Saying that the south would have remained an agrarian slave state is incredibly fucking stupid because no country on earth outside of Sub-Saharan africa ever did, because once you have the tools for proper industrialization (which the south did not *yet* possess, but would have), chattel slavery is beyond pointless.
Fourthly: the north benefited immensely from keeping niggers in the United states. Do you not think that the industrialists made *enormous* profits from virtually unpaid black labor? Not just that, but they started tapping into unpaid white southern labor as well. There was no actual incentive to ship them back to Africa because they made huge profits from nigger labor. Slavery never ended after the north won, it just breached containment.
Fifthly: everything could be forgiven if the north did not annihilate the white southerner, force him to live alongside beasts, rape his women, burn his crops, and implement a blueprint of genocide and demoralization that would be repeated in west Germany 80 years later. Not exactly anti jewish behavior there.
Sorry, the south was still the better option *primarily* for point 4. No attempt by Lincoln to get rid of slaves would have ever worked in the first place because he would have been killed off by tycoons. Slavery was just moved from the south to the north, it went from agricultural slavery to industrial slavery, and in the process they unleashed ferals upon the entire fucking nation.
One of my friends who was a professors said that the civil war was so costly (look into Lincoln printing fiat greenbacks and struggling to pay for union side) that the North could have purchased each slave from the South at a premium price, handsomely compensating each southern slave owner. Or the union could have subsidized more modernized Industrial equipment or cut the South in.
But like I said. I think modern history is fake and narrated and that the war was not primarily over slavery despite that being the way it is narrated and framed today with cherry picked evidence and speeches to frame the election and feud of that time.
