It looks like Protestant and Catholic issues were happening organically and the jews saw their opportunity and started fueling and funding revolutionary sentiments through guys like Cromwell.
That seems to be what Stephen Goodson suggests, and why looking back Martin Luther see's the jew attempts to subvert and revolutionize what Luther simply wanted to address within the Catholic church, as Luther was opposed to the "radical reformers" (as the guys at StoneChoir often explain).
