It didn't used to be. It started out as a group for men to tell their stories of being thoroughly screwed by a feminized society, like divorce rape, child custody, alimony, as well as noticing how women act when given power they shouldn't have, but like most grassroots groups which threaten globohomo, it gets infiltrated and subverted. Even the pick-up artist clique within MGTOW had its uses at first, showing men how promiscuous women could be when "empowered", but now the entire movement has mostly devolved into pursuing meaningless sex, anti-natalism, apathy, and defeatism.

Fair enough. I'm not familiar with the details of its history, only what it is now. I think men have a genuine grievance with modern women, but I don't hold with giving up.

The MGTOW sphere was one of the first redpill experiences I had when detaching from the mainstream right wing. I was taught one thing growing up, and by the media I was consuming, but the MGTOW stuff opened my eyes to the reality of women and feminism. But, I've slowly detached from that sphere as well as it's devolved.
