Got sick, lost my sense of taste and smell. Got on scamazon, looking for scented candles, because I'd like to smell something again, and I remember scented candles being really strong, strong enough I might be able to smell them. So I'm looking at the candles, and they're *all* fucking *soy* wax. Wtf... So much for that plan...

Any suggestions? I've already opened up every herb and spice container I own, can't smell any of it. Dojnt want any fucking soy either.

I had the same thing happen back in 2021. Overnight, my sense of smell just completely vanished. The first day I couldn't smell anything at all. But after that, I discovered I could still smell lemon pepper and pepto bismol faintly, so I made it a point to smell these things every day while increasing my vitamin A intake. It took like a month before my sense of smell was restored in full. Kind of sucked because this fell during my birthday, and we went out for steaks that I could only partially taste lol.

You said you already tried your spices, but if you don't have any lemon pepper, then I recommend trying that. I remember trying a few candles at one point but I couldn't really smell them, though I didn't even think to check if they were soy or not.

I don't have any lemon pepper, but I found some pepto. I can slightly smell the mint in it.
