All of the foods in the picture are man-made, and no one was using fruit imported thousands of miles out of season to treat illnesses thousands of years ago anyway.

I had a terrible growing season. Wind, hail locusts and a late frost fucked my yield. Thank God I'm not dependent on it yet or my dumb as would die.

Stocking up on staples for long term storage to hedge against bad harvests is probably a good idea for everyone

I struggle with pests. Racoons possums bugs birds moles. I learned tough lessons how to secure my crops better.

That 40 average was mostly due to extremely high childhood and especially infant mortality. If you managed to make it to adulthood, then you'd most likely live long enough to be a grandparent.

Depends. Get some basic herbs and medicines like aspirin and you'll go pretty far. Most disease is caused by poor nutrition and lifestyle which causes weakened immune system defenses against pathogens

I like modern medicine for most illnesses, prevention and cure. The problem with it is it has encouraged a treatment only mentality rather than a proactive prevention model

Eat the garbage slop till you need our drugs goys! They do actually work a good amount of the time.
