Good to know. I've got second degree burns from sunburn so not having some type protection isn't an option. Will look into mineral sunscreen brands.

I've taken a drug called melanotan-2 which increases the melanin in your skin for sun protection. It gives me a good summer tan and goes away after I stop taking it. I am ghost white normally

Try being out all day working without it. If you don't get sunburned you haven't been in the sun long enough to experience it.

I've worked outside, doing manual labor, for years, and never wore sunscreen. Our ancestors did the same, for thousands of years.

If you're working in the sun, wear sleeves and a hat.

does the opposite of what it's supposed to. if your diet is proper, there is no need for sunscreen

I went for a yearly checkup and they’re saying my cholesterol is high. I’ve been eating more eggs, steaks, and using butter/tallow for cooking. I’m early 30s around 6 feet 190 13% bf. Blood pressure is fine but they’re telling me to change my diet which is only home cooked lean meats, fruits/veggies and rice/potato. Sloot said I should eat more vegetarian foods, Cheerios, and seed oils. Also do rows daily for cardio. Doctor might try to put me on blood pressure meds.

Tell me, what kind of physical condition are the people telling you these things in? Because the last time I saw a doctor (several years ago), a fat little sand nigger of a "man", he said my BMI was too high.

I'm 6'2, 220 and have been, plus or minus a few pounds, for close to two decades (late 30s, was early 30s when this camel fucker gave me "medical advice"). I'm in better shape than 95% of the people I come across and far stronger, have better endurance, basically in every way that actually matters far more physically fit. Why was a shitskin who is 5'7 with approx a 42in waist trying to give a White man like me counsel on anything related to health or well-being?

BMI like so many of the other metrics used for determining "health" is not just limited, it's functionally useless for anyone who lifts weights or has any amount of muscle because it does not distinguish between muscle and fat (and muscle has always weighed more). Granted most of the population is sedentary, lazy, and obese, but most of the solutions offered exacerbate those problems or just "maintain" them.

As u/ApexVeritas said, you can't expect these people to have your best interests in mind when you take a look around their office and see pharaceutical branding on everything; evidence that they are bought and paid for. If someone is in the business of making you dependent on their products to "get by" than the last thing they want is a healthy and well informed patient.

And the credentialed faggots that aren't actively corrupt and self interested still mostly do nothing other than chase down symptoms and hyper focus on secondary or tertiary things, while not caring or even knowing how to find root causes. People were conditioned for generations to think doctors were among the most intelligent people in any population group, yet if a person has ever known a few personally or probed them to see what their actual knowledge is... it's clearly not the case.

You need to be your own best advocate for your health.

BMI was literally created in 1998 to push obesity as a medical “epidemic” and order to secure federal funding.

Are you that dense to be trusting what these modern doctors say? LOL

If you actually read the post, you would see that he wasn’t trusting.

I would stop going for this "checkup" if they don't understand the function of cholesterol.

Doctors are idiots when it comes to nutrition. My doc told me to stay away from fatty meats lol so basically the same as yours. He also said to throw the egg yolk out lool, the literal core nutrients of the egg. "Yeah just eat the whites bro, those yolks will kill you"

Modern medicine is incredibly corrupt, and most doctors just repeat what medical school and the pharmaceutical industry tells them. Cholesterol isn't inherently bad. Some scientific studies are just flat out wrong, and other studies they're taking out of context, trying to paint the picture that there are no other considerations when it comes to cholesterol, that high is bad, and low is good. It's simply not true. Here are some good videos on the more complex picture of cholesterol:

They say every White man’s cholesterol & blood pressure is high.

Even when I was a teenager with 7% body fat and in the best shape of my life. I learned not to trust them.

after i do moderate to heavy exercise, i crave animal products for sure. Your body will eat it's own protein reserves if you ignore this basic human instinct
