Christ certainly wasnt too fond of swearing in general. One shouldnt have to curse oneself to ensure honesty.

I find it quite spectacular Christians have managed to reach such peak levels of idiocy that they made it a rule to swear oaths ON THE BIBLE when IN THE BIBLE it is clear that

1. never swear any oath
2. never swear an oath specifically about heaven/God

Consenting to a suggestion binds one under oath to another, while ignoring that nature set each one free from one another.

a) Implies a conflict of reason (yes vs no)

b) Nature doesn't require affirmation (yes) nor denial (no) from those within...it forces adaptation.
