The majority of all social media is bots, especially reddit. The more bots you have on your platform, specifically AI bots that post content and interact with humans, the more engagement the platform can report is happening. With this they charge more for advertising since they can claim engagement is so high on their platform. It is a giant ponzi scheme designed to suck advertising dollars off the table, and most people are too fucking retarded to figure it out.
