I work with too many muslims at my job. I am forced to converse with them at times, and it never fails to irk me how enforced they are in their ignorance and stupidity. Everything is allah's will, so there's no point in learning or in invention, the technology will manifest once allah wants it to.

Sorry to hear that.

That style of thinking sounds similar to some people here who everything’s fucked because we’re not praying hard enough to Jesus and once we do everything will magically fix without any action required on our part.

It's worse, because it's not even praying for things, it's just allah's will. We got penicillin not because of Alexander Fleming, but because it was allah's will that it coalesced at the time. Did someone invent some new tech? No, allah just didn't will us to have that yet. It's anti-thought.
