The irony is that taking medications is a big lifestyle change.

I cannot imagine how it is to live life knowing that you need a steady supply of drugs to function.

This really gets me, I hear about people in their teens and 20s taking tons of pills daily and have to for life. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

The number of pills I take (regularly or irregularly): 0

Not even supplements. If I feel like I need vitamins, I'll eat liver and onions. Liver is nature's natural supplement.

The idea of being tied to any pill for life is abhorrent to me.

It's becoming quite common in bodybuilding, where gym rats (I'm not talking about professional bodybuilders, I'm talking about guys who lift just to look good) use steroids. And cruising, not in cycles. They willingly screw up their endocrine system knowing that they'll have to take HRT for the rest of their lives just like troons.

What's the points of having big muscles if your testicles don't work.

The funny thing is, now it's people who just started bodybuilding that are taking it right from the very beginning.

If it were some guy who has worked out like a madman and has hit a legit ceiling, I can see the temptation being there.

But now, people want to just take roids right from the start before they've even maxxed out their potential. Insane.

Yes it is insane. If you use steroids when you're starting out it's very likely that your muscles will grow so fast that your tendons and ligaments (which develop slowly) won't be able to catch up. It's asking for an injury, because your muscles will be able to lift a weight that your soft tissues are not able to handle.

Steroids should only be considered after at least 5 years of lifting, when you also have acquired enough experience to know what you're doing.

imo steroids should not be considered at all.

Let's face the facts, when you get right down to it, there is only one reason for men to bodybuild: to get girls. That is it. Anyone that says otherise is a liar. And extreme bodybuilding is just a massive overcompensation.

The fact is, a bodybuilder like Jay Cutler is not attractive to the majority of women. All you really need is to have a moderate amount of muscle (something anyone can do without steroids) and be shredded as in low body fat. Steroids are not needed at all.
