To be fair, pretty sure the Moors (who are some sort of arab) did a lot of rape in that area of europe. Part of my family is sicilian, and while most of them look generically italian, my uncle ended up with incredibly tan skin (which has whitened as he aged) to the point he got made fun of as a kid. Sicilians got and a lot of south Italy got moored before the crusades, so I would assume Arab features are more common in other parts of southern europe as well.
